Very entertaining..........But what's all this talk of boring the stub axles on Maxidrive installs? My axle withdraws and the stub is not bored, also another that I have seen is the same. Did Mal change something?

I think they will be talking about rear axles, although I guess the front should be the same. I know I can't remove at least one side of my rear.

I'm talking the rear, I mean I know my memory is pretty bad but I thought my axle slid in with the stub axle on.

Stub axle? Not sure what you mean. I think a lot of people use different terminology when it comes to diffs and axles which makes it a bit confusing.

This is what I remember from having mince out a little while ago.

On the rear you have 2 half shafts only. These run from the diff to the cap on the hub. No other stub axles that I can remember, unless you have non standard rangie gear.
It was the brass bush that stops you being able to completely pull out the axles without diss-assembling the hub.

I hope I have that correct. I am sure someone will let me know if I don't!
