    nice work John thanks for helping with that, lovemyrangie you need to be carefull of your sarcasim if you aren't up to speed with your mechanics.

    TD130 200k, With the gbox removed i have measured the backlash at the handbrake drum. It rotates one/eighth of a turn before the lash is taken up. Is this considered normal and/or is there a way of shimming the gears in the transfer case to retifiy this problem.
