ARB Defender bar & Himount fitting

Folks, I'm not up to speed with the changes in ARB bars, though could anybody please tell me with some certainty if this bar will fit a Warn Himount?

    Cheers

i'd say so, as long as it was going in a 110 without the extended front grill. The spotties wont fit with the winch though.

The grill may still need modifying as i had to cut mine to bits, but i did move the bar 2" closer to the body to appruve approach angle.

    Thanks for this Andy,

That should be no probs. I was thinking that I would make it fit my Series ute to mount the himount on. Its looking like I'll fit a Stage 1 grill (if I can get one) to fit the other coolers that we were talking about before, but thats no probs for me if the grill needs to be carved up to fit the high mount.

I was also largely checking that the himount would go in and not foul anything over it like the deck plate or tube that the spots mount on. Sounds like its good though. Unfortunately the owner wasn't sure.

They (who ever they are) say it will fit.

I had to modify the bar to get mine in (either that or cut the grill out)

You need to push the winch back to clear the middle bar, it then fouls the grill.

    Thanks for this Bushie,

Was it just "clearancing" the area around the brake etc? Did you also mod the tube rail above it or does it already come bent forward like that?

It looks like it can be done then with a few mods which wont really compromise the bars strength.

The tube rail was modified to clear the winch, and I think (but cant really remember) the deck plate was also modified. - Its been about 9 years since it was done.
