    Inertia reel seatbelts--assistance required

On Friday I decided to do some work on the interior of my Siii SW, so I removed the inertia reel seatbelts and put them aside. Today I have come to refit them to find I cannot open them back out after they were retracted.

I am hoping someone may be able to advise on how to open them back up-- at the moment they are closed as tight as a drum and wo'nt budge

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi AJ,

You have to get the housings as vertical as they were in the car. There is a little dongle thing inside that must hang down vertically to 'unlock' the belt. (To make the belt effective in slow rollovers maybe)

    cheers, DL

    Thanks, DL.
I'll give it a go and see what happens!
