    cutting out when changing gears

hi all,i have a bit of a issue with the disco starting to pop up,its seems to be driving good one minute then i will go to change gears and put the clutch in then take it out and when i put my foot back down on the acelarator and there will be nothing at all for about 5 seconds then it will kick back in and be fine till i change gears again or take my foot of then put it back on, i changed fuel filter as i thought it might have been blocked with all the offroading i do,but hasnt changed anything,am thinking the acelarator cable maybe or something else to do with the fuel, anyone had this problem
    cheers mick

EFI, I think I'm the only one who's fitted a Carb motor to a disco for someone, but atleast it wasn;t a stinky little 3.5

Check the wiring and plugs under dash, as if its related to the clutch pedal, thats about the only thing it could be

Ahhhhhh, if one was intelligent, one would read the signature......

I was going to say the TPS is a good place to start, but now I'm having a mental blank on the flapper setup...
