Need some info
I have been driving land rovers for years in the army and have just bought a 1985 110 County with a 3.5L V8. I have been searching the net to get some figures on fuel economy but have not been able to find anything. As I have only driven the 3.9L diesel version I have no idea about the V8 engines and their economy.
Can anyone help me?

Yes
What economy.
The V8 is a great sounding engine but expect 14-20l per hundred I believe. V8 owners should be along soon.

I went back to a 2.6. from a V8. Its as my father used to say, "if you want fun drive a Land Rover, if you want economy drive a four pot Torana son!"

Is the fuel economy any different between the carb and fuel injected V8's?
