Hi all,

Not sure if anyone else realises this and I'm just really slow but since I've been frigging around fitting Falcon seats to my Disco1 I've discovered that the existing seats can be moved back about 25mm just by unbolting the seats and rails and using a second set of existing holes in the rails and bolting the seat back on. I've only done the driver's side. Passenger side is probably the same but it is fine as it is.

Before I felt the seat wouldn't go back far enough and now I have to use my toes to get full throttle pedal travel. I'm 190cm tall

The rail release handle thingo just touches the front bar of the seat mount but seems fine.

Haven't driven it yet but should be good at least until I finish making the adapters for the new seats.

Note that this won't work on the later Disco1s (MY97 on?) as they have different seat mounts. Probably will work on the earlier Disco1s with the older interior as I imagine this type of seat base is a carry over from that model.
