    Question tdi 300 thermostat

    Which way does the thermostat go on in the housing. Does it go with the jiggle pin at 12 o'clock as the rave disc says or does it go as the haynes manual says with the word marked top on the thermostat at 12 o'clock

    Pin @ 12 o'clock is the way I've always put thermostats in. I'm pretty sure that is the way my old one came out too.
