    chiped defender

    i hav only driven one defender td5 that was chiped, but it also had the exhaust done, bigger turbo an intercooler, an lots of other little things done to it, so it when like hell, but i was thinking of just chiping my defender td5 it to give a bit more go,, has enyone done this an how did it go,, worth doing,

    Chipping is good, bigger intercooler is even better though. Exhaust would be the last thing to worry about

    Definitely worth doing!

    Where do you live? Cooler climates dont benefit as much from the IC as the warmer areas...

    Although, even a "level 1" re-map will put a smile on your face.

    What years your Defender?

    its a 06 td5,, im on the sunshine coast,, what sort of ganes will i get from the level-1,

    Around 30%....

    The vehicle will be easier to drive, more responsive and less gear changes needed...

    If you have a 2nd vehicle, pluck the ECU and send it my way (turn around is about 4 days)... My programming is excellent value... (For the record, my mapping is written by B.A.S also a member of this wonderful board) and both him and I will go all out to make sure your happy with the upgrade.

    its good, its very good...

    Ive had orgasms that werent as good as driving big red post chipping.

    (and Im still waiting to do my intercooler intsall)
