anyone know if a Detroit locker for 24 spline land rover axle is compatible with 4.11 cwp?

all the units i've seen advertised online from the states state 24 spline rover for 3.54 and down!!

    Rover type:
Should be, all the 4.10 gears I know of being made these days are for the 3.54 (always 24 spline) diff.
    Salisbury:
All the detroit lockers for the Salisbury are drop in units, meaning they replace the spider gears and side gears so there would be no gear split.

If you like tell me exactly what you have and the PN you are looking at and I can tell you exactly what to expect.

Will be fine. I run a detroit and will be going to 4.11s when finances permit.

thanks, i'm waiting on getting my disco back from my mechanic (small problem with not being able to engage reverse) and i'll check 100% what axle i'm running (my disco was built right about the crossover time from 10 to 24 spline)
once i am sure i'll let you know what PN (part no. i assume??) i'm looking at and run it past you.
    PS. PM sent
