You can get similar plastic clips to the ones you are talking about from Repco, they are slightly different in that the flat secton of them is a circular shape not a square shape

the speed nuts listed in the champion parts book are what you're after

Have you tried the Auto Rubber Shop at Enoggera? I've bought stuff off them before for my Defender.......a reasonable range of clips, and bits and pieces (as well as the rubber stuff) for old classic cars.
    Good luck

sorry, but in my experience they are near identical but either the size is different, or the bolt/screw size is different - the land rover item for series/early 110's are smaller than the smallest supplied by Champion, hence me looking for any similar vintage british car - mini, MG, rover etc...

another weird one I noticed yesterday - the mini traveller (twin barn doors on the back) has the same hinges as series land rover rear doors....

It might be worthwhile giving Karcraft a call. I picked up a pile of Defender door card/trim clips from them last week. I couldn't find them in the Champion catalogue.

I know i can get them from Aviall out at archerfield but they have a minimum order of $200. I don't think i want $200 worth of Tinnerman Fasteners I'll see what some of those landy places have in stock.

    Cheers

if aviall is not what you want - bulk buy too much go to:
    aviaquip moorabbin.
they can help you with small quantities, and you can get the part nos from the aircraft spruce and speciality catalog,
or wern't you listening [sorta typical of pilots - don't listen to engineers]
    Safe Travels
