Engine Parts to identify
I have removed the attached (not yet attached) engine parts seeing as there was oil leaking from either one of the two parts where they bolts onto the engine block. I have a '94 Defender Tdi and these parts come off the right hand side of the engine. The one part is what the oil filter turns onto and the other part is just above this part.
Both these parts have a gasket between it and the engine but the first part has some sort of rubber inner that covers most of the hole in the engine.
I need to get replacement gaskets etc for this so please let me know what these parts are called.
PS. Can someone please assist me in uploading these pictures. They are over 130kb JPEG files.

Easiest way of attatching the pics may be uploading them to a photobucket account. You can then link them in your post.

Top one is 300 TDI oil filter mount.
The 2nd looks like plate on the same motor, but you will forgive me, not going out now and looking.

Thanks all,
Now that I know what they are could anyone let me know what else is worth replacing/checking on these parts while I have them off. Can anything be cleaned or is is just a case of replacing the gaskets?
In the cavity between the engine block and the oil filter mount there is a rubber fitting which covers most of the hole in effect shaping the cavity to look like the the rear of the oil filter mount where it bolts onto the engine. What is the function of this and would it need replacing?
Lastly, seeing as it is very difficult and time consuming to get to the bolts that hold these two parts down, I want to make sure I sort the leak out properly. Should I just put the normal gasket in there or should I use a gasket and some sealant such as Blue Max?
Thx
