Naw...that is part of the axle housing....maybe some sort of sealing device

Thought I'd add to this old thread.

I'm changing the rear axle and to move the new one around I bolted up what I thought was an old style 130 rim - anr1534 - 6 1/2x16x20.6 - and found that it fouls on the brake caliper (disc). It's the riveted style rim.

So now I'm wondering if I've not got a 130 rim.

ANR1534 is definitely the earlier model 130 rim. Maybe there is some difference in the hub offset on the new axle. Brian

Is it possible that the early 130 rim will not fit with disc rear axle?
