Thread: Firewall Swap - using 96 defender loom in county

Hi All,
Im in the middle of swapping my firewall over, using a 96 defender firewall to replace whats left of my old county one, at the moment everything looms straight forward but i am trying to use the defender loom and connect it up to the county wiring for the rear of the vehilce etc, the engine side of the loom isnt going to be an issue because im converting to a gen3 motor at the same time so i will be redoing all that anyway.

It looks like the wiring that runs into the chassis in the county has different type plugs to whats on the defender firewall, but i dont have wiring diagrams to make sure im looking at the right stuff. can anyone tell me where to find some wiring diagrams? any other suggestions on how i should do it?

Hi, I did similer changing and got away with looking at wire colours at the back end and a test light. wasnt hard and took a few hours drinking beer to do.
