I have two Discovery 3 TDV6 turbos, so if they are around 190hp then 2 should be good for 350bhp, will a Crossflow take that ok? Cause I don't want to be opening it up and messing with internals, otherwise I would be better with a V8.
Suppose it would be a bit different![]()

Hahaha that sounds like you want me to turn them in to Superchargers.....
Gearbag/gearbox
250 will sustain it and in OZ atleast, they're as cheap as chips, so if you change one every no and then, who cares
How much torque/HP do you think you're going to make with most thing
1UZ-FE is a bit of a task in regards to a conversion as the duel overhead cams on each head, see the engine width blow outand a baby windsor won;t make alot of HP stock
Yeah I see your point, I just liked the idea of lots of grunt from nothing. Turbo's always have lag, unless I get fancy and run a WRC style Anti Lag system hahaha :d Now I am just kidding.
I will look in to it some more, from what I have read so far LPG on turbo 250's is all the rage.
If you want torque at low revs the 1UZ is not for you, but it will match the 4.7 gears well, very punchy when up it and it does love a rev
Lag? pfft, don;t go oversize on the turbo and all will be well
LPG, gas research carb, boost reference the convertor...or 2 and away you go![]()
