Thread: Disco II Stinky air con

Hi Guys, the air con in my Disco II is starting to get a bit stinky. I know some sort of 'freshener' can be added but I don't know how to do it and a what sort of stuff to add. Appreciate any hints. Cheers

Try using an antiseptic spray air freshener like glen 20 through the system. From under the bonnet above the firewall spray into the inlet where the flimsy filter sits with the aircon ON. Do this every couple of weeks 3 or 4 times, and it should fix it. While you're at it make sure the aircon drains are clear & re-route them with garden hose if not done already, they drip onto the prop shaft on the RHS & the transmission ecu (?) on the LHS
