Bearmach 121A diff guard for D2 - fitting problems

Hi - has anyone fitted one of these?

I had to open mine up a bit to get it on and even then it required a bit of rubber mallet action. Then the supplied bolts weren't long enough to go through the top which was now opened up a bit. I used longer bolts and once I got a bit of tension up, the whole thing sprung off... Maybe I'll just fit the kind that straps around the back of the diff...

When I fitted mine I put a few tack welds around the perimeter, for extra piece of mind. I cant see why it will ever have to come off, and the angle grinder will do the job if necessary.

Go easy on the amps as the housings are thin....(dont ask me how I know)
