    td5 running rough at idel

in the last couple of days, i could pull up to the lights an stop, then the engine goes down to idle an it runs really badly, the hole car will shake, an after about 10sec it will just stop an be fine, if i take off when is shaking it will b fine, no loss of power or anything, starts fine,

will not do it after start up, no oil in harness, air filter is fine,

the car doesn’t feel like it will cut out, it will just run rough, an will do it only about 6-7 times out of 10, if i touch the pedal it will be fine, an go back to normal,

on monday when i go back to work il look at F/C's if theres any

    any thorts

I believe you can also get them to do that rhythmic rough idle by coasting forward in neutral.

Mines done it since new - 170,000ks and it's still doing it. Two Dealers said it was expected and normal. But I would like to find out why!
