Tdi300 oil plessure & sender size

I am about to purchasing a VDO oil pressure gauge to fit on the Mud console in "Rustic", my Defender.
I need to know the normal engine oil preassure on the tdi 300 plus the size of the sender's thread so I can get an adapter to use the original sender plus the VDO sender.
    Info will be appreciate
    Cheers

Thanks mate, so it is not a 1/8 bsp thread?
The 4000 kpa VDO gauge would be Ok?

I've had it out and measured it and for the life of me can't remember the size.
I'll have a quick look and see if I've written it in my VDO papers.

VDO make a screw in adapter so you can re-use the pressure sender and screw in another 1/8"-27 NPTF sender in the branch, so is quite possibly M10x1

    No, definitely not.
It's quite a bit bigger than the water temp sender which is 1/8"-27 NPT.
Thy love to mix metric and US measuring on these things. (NPT isn't BSP)
