EFI Dual fuel set up on 3.5

It has been a while since I have posted but the project is back on.Can anyone give me some ideas on this set up?I would like to get rid of the holley on my 3.5 and fit EFI and have it as a dual fuel set up.I want to be able to run an aftermarket computer so I can use duel mapping and set and forget.Has anyone done this and how successful was it.I would like to stick to a LR set up with aftermarket comp also any engine mods that may be needed? It is a stage1 tray top ute.
    Thanks Pete

Easiest lpg setup would be an Impco 225/200a mixer and model L converter, these are common on dunnydores and EA-EL fowlcans and will fit inline with the efi throttle body and filter housing.

I would use a 14CUX manifold rather than the old flapper type , as it has a stepper motor and the fitting for it at the back of the manifold.
It also has a more modern injector setup, using O ring retained injectors the same as Commodores etc.
If you wanted to be really fancy you could use a Thor, as it will take the rail from a 14CUX with a little reworking, and then can use any modern o ring injector. Thor rails do not have a fuel return and use stumpy little injectors.

A Thor would also have an infinitely variable IACV, and a lot of aftermarket ECUs cannot drive them. You can fit a 14CUX stepper but it is a lot of stuffing about.
