    Magnecor D2 - what size

Wondering what size Magnecor leads to use on my D2, listing show 7mm & 8mm leads - what is everyone else using.

Decided to ditch the aftermarket land rover leads, only done 20,000 (10months) and they are arching - ordinary.

Removing coil packs - any tips, rather than removing intake. I think there is 4 bolts which will enable coils to be lifted up and leads installed.

    Thanks.

incisor, thanks - was it a D2? Can you remember the cost? Did it cure any ills or just maintenance?

    they say--
its possible to do without removing the chamber---
(yes, mine were done without removal)
    got any kids?

and I'd go with the biggest lead size you can afford,,
it will take 100,000 kays for your hands to recover

I have had 7MM on my RRC for 8+ years with no problems.
I think it would be hard to fit 8MM into the dizzy cap.

I believe Magnacore are very good but I haven't used them because, quite frankly, I think they're too pricey.

I've tried most of the others though on my RV8s including Eagle 9mm, Top Guns, Champion, and Accer - all spiral core low resistance types.

One of the best though IMExperience has to be Bosch leads (black ones) which are cheap and readily availalbe from all Supercheap auto stores. While not all Bosch ignition parts are too brilliant - I don't like Bosch plugs at all - the leads are equal to the best of them.

Contacted Performance Ignition Services in Nunawading - they stock Magnecor and make their own leads which have lower resistance than Magnecor, opted for theirs 8mm (look better than the LR stuff) $145 ($130+$15) delivered overnight.
    Good advice and service.
