just another hole to let water in.....
but they do have good drainage.....
I came across a guy who scored a brand new "still in the box" sunroof from the previose disco.
He is willing to part with it for next to nothing.
Would it be compatible with a defender and worth looking to install?
Thanks
James

sun roofs leak I wouldn't bother......
we took ours out of our 90, swaped the roof over for one with out...
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
I've had sunroofs in my last 3 cars (2 classic Range rovers and a BMW 323i) and absolutely love them. If the drain tubes are kept clear leakage is not a problem. Could not tell you though whether the discovery sunroof would fit the defender. i'm just trying to picture the roofline of the defender- wouldn't a sunroof end up catching too much airflow due to the slope of the roof at the front?
no it wont fit without alot of work, and sillicon. The disco roofs are curved, defender roofs are flat. We used to have a defender with a factory fitted popup sunroof.
