    probs with a 2" lift

    well i want to lift my 110 defender no more then 2",, but i dont wana get new springs, as i dont no what im looking for,, so some one told me just to get some spring block sorta things an sit them under the springs, that way i keep my same springs,, wat probs could i get buy doing this, an how will my brake lines an uni's be with the extra angle, i will be getting longer dampers,

    Can I just clarify that you don't want to get 2" springs because you don't know what you're looking for?

    You shouldn't have any probs with brake lines or unis, personly i'd just go with longer springs, if your not shore what springs to go with talk to Shane from suspension stuff!

    prity much,,, idk how soft or hard to go an that sorta stuff, an its a cheaper way

    if you are going to the trouble off changing the shocks get new springs as well get it as a set to match each other, you will get better ride and more wheel travel, if you just use lift blocks and long shocks i think the spring will dislocate from its perch if not retained i'm sure some one else can correct me if that is incorrect, but do it the right way. A 2'' lift will go into a defender with out any problems at all. ring one of the landrover specialist guys and ask them what is the best for your needs, don't ask ARB or TJM those guy only know s**t about those s**tfull toyota's.

    haha yer thanks mate,, i can put them in my self, i just dont no what type to get,, im gona be ringing around buy the look of it,, plus the blocks would be alot cheaper way of lifting the beast,, oh an what about the antiroll bars?? eny probs with them

    IMO just buy a set of 2" lift springs. I really dislike spacers.

    on all my rover's i take the sway bars off for better wheel travel, the county only had one on the rear to start with but gone now.

    Yeah and i hear they have a third nipple and stare at wombats with that crazy eyed look that only penguins seem to get when they have a bowl full of cornflakes.
