    Defender Question.

    Will Disco 24 spline axles fit into a 300 tdi 130?

    Rear axles ? AFAIK, no.
    I believe the spline diameter is slightly different between the Rover and Sals axles, (Rover is about 0.004" tighter) and I'm unsure if the one piece flanged axle will fit the Defender hubs.

    Sorry long axle will fit short one wont as its too long for the short side of a sals
    The splines if 24 are the same , How do i know cause i used a long axle out of my old rangie in my Tdi Defender

    Cheers RM, handy to know.
    I've re-read my Maxi catalogue, and by the sounds of it a Rover 24 spline will go into a Sals centre, but the Sals axle may be too tight to go into the Rover centre.
    Mal has written that the Rover side gears are 0.004" tighter than a Sals.
