Hmmm good point, me thinks I might just spend the time removing the heat exchanger than making extra blanks it'l probably take me less time. I can always refit it at a later date if needs be.
I have to say I'm glad I removed the EGR, my engine was so lacking in anything down low and seemed to take for ever to spool up the turbo. It seems a lot better now. When I pulled the EGR out it was pretty gunked up inside.
My next thing is to get a 3" dump pipe like yours with a vortex.
