    35'' with

    Hi all.
been a while, just got my computer back, the storms during Christmas shut it down.
Any way. Can I run 34"/35" tires without changing diff ratios or transfer reduction gears and still go out and have reasonable off road performance or is the answer a definite NO!.
The reason for not wanting to change ratios yet is $$$$.
XL flare kit, another lift and tires, brake lines ect all adds up.
If I can still go out and have fun i'll wait a bit, if not it will have to be one of the first things done.
my rig is 02 V8 auto.
    Thanks
    Mark

There are lots running that setup with 32's happily and I ran TD5 auto with 33's for quite a while happily. The autos will do it, but the manuals wont. I'd give it a go if you planned on a gear change for sometime down the track or only ran the 35's offroad.
    Cheers

    Thanks Slunnie
I run 32" now and very happy, can see on road performance suffering with larger, the 35" would be for all the off road stuff, this is where I am concerned

i'm in the process of putting 4..11 ratios in my 94 defender at this very moment so i can run 35's. mine is only a 300tdi but one thing to think about is the increase in your crawl speed..
