Smile Collection of TD5 mods - results

    G'day Aulrovians,

Have been busy this past month with chalking up the various recommended mods, and here's the apparent effects...

33" tyres - BFG MT 255/85R16.....speedo accurate, cruises at 110
snorkel....................................no obvious change, induction note up
    K+N filter.................................no obvious change
    Remove hyclone........................no obvious change
Remove bellow joint on exhaust....no obvious change
    Stage 1 ECU remap....................woooohoooooo, thanks Tombie2
    Muffler removed........................slightly boomier note
    EGR valve removed....................slightly less smokey

Aside from the ECu remap, the upgrades haven't shown up as huge individual improvements, but combined results means she is more entertaining to drive, responsive to the throttle and can actually overtake with relish. And no change to fuel consumption!!

That's probably the lot for the time being...any more increases on the power side of things and I guess I'll be looking at upgrading the transmission before I break something.

In the meantime time for some more low flying...and perhaps look at some of the roof and panel leaks....and the heater that doesn't.......
