    The TD5 ECU magician!!!

    G'day Guys,

    Just want to say a HUGE THX to Tombie (Total Rover Tech) for waving his magic over my newly acquired D2 TD5 Auto.

    This car was no real slouch but now its a rocket ship, I am astounded in the difference, I had to drive around the block 5 times just to check I was not dreaming this arvo. I have just returned from a trip on the F3 North of Sydney to test it on the "Big Dipper" and not only did it hold 110km/h but I had to take my foot of the go peddle at 125km/h before the top.

    I expected something similar to my D110 TD5 but got even more!!!

    Just more to add, I only sent the ECU to Tombie Tues lunch time via Platinum Express bag and received it back this arvo just after lunch - 48 hour turn around is what I call REAL service.

    Also Mark, now you have the chip, you may want to get an EGT monitor, to keep an eye on the those temps, I'm assuming you have a Nanacom.

    So what did you end up getting from Tombie, whats the KW's and NM now any ideas, i want to get Tombie to do ours but never get the time to take the car off the road for a week
