I'd agree with above,I run maxxi's and they are top notch and half the price. Pat
Have you thought of the Maxis Bighorns? i have both tyres and i must say for on road the Maxis are quieter and hold on much longer in dry/wet. And then in the more important stuff such as rock and mud
i would rather be wearing the Maxis! and they are a much friendlier price as well!

YAY i finaly got them,, i would of looked at the maais tyer but i had allready had a order on with the MTZ, going to fit them next week
can't wate to take them out for a run at glass house
Hey there Stig,
Try and get a pic while on your road test. I am also tossing between the MTZ or the ATZ 4 rib.
The tyre man said they didnt make my tyre size ( standard 01 disco td5 ), and palmed me off on to Coopers, but I want MT's
What size did you end up getting, and was that after your 2'' lift.
As I will mainly be using them in slippery mud and ice/snow conditions aswell as the dirt in summer I am keen to get feedback on them.
Many thanks
What size and price did you get, I am also on the lookout for tyres - pm me if you'd prefer
Cheers

The Mickey Thompson MTZ's are very good.
I have them in 265 x 75 x 16.
Good in mud, snow, wet grass, rocks & good on the road including wet bitumen.
In my opinion outperform Cooper STT's, Goodyear Wrangler MTR's & BFG MT's.
In addition they are better on road than the 18" Goodyear Wrangler OEM tyre.
I paid $310.00ea fitted & balanced.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Chuck
