    What is this plug for?

This is a plug from the D1 V8 engine loom. It comes across to the drivers side, near the battery.

Does anyone know what it would be for?

    They are.

So is mine, you can see the retaining bracket for it in shot. I have the bottle out getting an extra fitting soldered in for the bottom hose.

At the very bottom of the pic you can see two green wires, they are for the low coolant sensor (factory fitted to RR).

    Yea ... I saw that bracket ...

Have you had a hunt for a JPG of someones motor bay?
Also ... What are the "wire colour code" going to that plug? (I can see that they are white?)

    What's it for?

    Jon,

I searched RAVE ETM for SY (grey/yellow), comes up evaporative emission canister purge valve.

Should be the thing if the other wire is WP (white/purple).
