Hi Blaze, did you fit the probe in the EGR plate? If so, that is quite cool for a Tdi Standard fuel settings will give about these numbers. Time for some tweaking.....

Hoping you would see this, not many sleeps before you can work your magic for me. I wanted this gauge fitted before I come down purely because I think you need this info to work magic.
Probe is fitted in the egr plate

What was the date? If you are really lucky, Leo109 maybe about when you drop by, he is the Tdi temp tech guru, I learnt a lot from his website Thermoguard instruments.
EGT gauge is mandatory when playing with diesel fuelling.
Were we going to fit a T belt aswell, or have you recently done that?

Hey mate

When cruising (off the top of my head) normally between 250-350

Rolling down hill as low as 150

And my top temperature so far has been 704. That was up Spring Hill on the Midlands Highway, flat foot 5th. I started backing off once I hit that though

I have mine fitted in the same place

And as for the tweaking ... Just do it

Timing belt is only 35000km old so I will fit a completed kit in at the start of 2010
