    Disco2 Maxidrive CV boots

    I know this is a long shot....


    but does anybody know by any chance what CV boot Mal used on these or where to get them??? The standard one doesn't suit.

    ide duck down to CBC and have a look. our local CBC has CV(front wheel drive) kits on the shelf.
    my guess would be dana or jeep size boots.

    The standard one should fit Slunnie, I have the same MD CV's on my D2 and we fitted a standard boot a few weeks ago - as suggested by my mechanic who fited the CV's for me a few years ago. Had to put the boot it in some boiling water mind you to get it on but it worked perfectly and locked in place nicely, still holding strong today

    One suggestion though is to engage the axle into the CV first before putting the boot on.

    and they had an original left from when they were making them. Interestingly Mick, Brenton (?) was saying that he thought the OE ones fitted also which really surprised me.
