i'm trying butt, got today off so i'll get the aircon nailed, if need be i'll throw in a set of jacmacs off the county till i get it sorted.
the pup's are doing good just started teething and making all sorts of noises though eyes and ears fully open and almost walking around so they're getting kinda cool now.
How long till Easter?
as a machinist i cant see any issues at all, you could do it at home with a die grinder.
cheers phil
Hi Jason, we are going up on Wed 8th and back Tues 14th so plenty of time, so get there any time in between. I'll give you a call with the details
Cheers
Nick
nice one nick, have asked our neighbours daughter to house/puppy sit for a few days for us - just got to stock the fridge with beer and food and all should be good :D:cool:
cheers phil i didn't think it would make a lot of difference but thought i'd better check before letting my mate lose on them. dropped them off today and hopefully have them back mid - next week
When I bought Maxi-Drive flanges, they were machined to remove material in the region that I believe you are talking about.
Here is a pic. Sorry about the quality, I took it tonight and it hasn't been clean for a while.

thanks butt, mine need to go the other way, with no where near as much material off - so i'm now 100% confidant that what were doing is o.k.
you didn't need to maching them just to get those wheels on did you?
only reason I ask is about to buy new steel wheels and I have maxi flanges on the rear and I never gave them a second though as to whether they would interfere with the fitting of a steel wheel, I just assumed they would be OK
For what it's worth and I don't know about other states but wheel spacers in NSW are illegal. I had a ford and the RTA said they would defect the vehicle unless the spacers were removed. They wouldn't even allow the spacers to be welded to he hub
