    Clutch Part

    Gday

I have a 300 Tdi Defender. Im losing clutch fluid and it appears to be dripping down the firewall and onto the floor mat just below the clutch pedal

I asked JC about it over the phone and he told me the part I needed but that was a a week or so ago and I cant for the life of me remember what it was called

Could someone tell me what I need please?

    Thanks

You will have to swap the pushrod for the one in your old cylinder - just a matter of removing the rubber boot and then the circlip to do that. Just be very careful not to get any dirt in and particularly not any oil or grease except rubber grease.

wash your hands before doing this as they are sure to be a bit greasy from getting the old cylinder out.

There is a detailed description of how to change the cylinder in one of the issues of the AULROVIAN I think.
