    G'day Mulgo,

Sorry I don't know the particular vehicle, but looking at the ad - my first reaction is "Too Expensive".

You can pick up a well cared for Discovery 2a with similar specs for around that figure.. either 2003 or early 2004.

Unless the price is pretty flexible, I'd be looking elsewhere.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most

2015 TDV6 D4.... the latest project... Llams, Traxide, Icom 455, Tuffant Kimberleys and Mofos.... so far.
2012 SDV6 SE D4 with some stuff... gone...
    2003 D2a TD5...gone...
    2000 D2 V8...gone...

I've been looking at the same vintage disco and I hate to say it but for that kays and that condition, that is around the going rate. If you are getting ones for 12k then you are getting a bargain.

I had alook at one for 17k recently and while it was in good nick it was a base model and had 165,000 kays on it. It also had no service history and the dealer wasnt interested in negotiating.

Landyandy posted today that his brother picked up a tdi Disco for $5000 just the other day. Not that there's necessarily any relationship between prices NSW/WA, or KM, or condition, or age, or anything really.

    But $23k does sound pricey.

Should be getting a 2003 or even 2004 model for that sort of money.

Also, not mentioned yet but the 2002 didn't have the centre diff lock or the ability to fit aftremarket unit.

Personally, I'd be waitng for a later model to turn up that has only been transporting the kids to school and sport. With present economic climate you shouldn't have to wait too long.
