Thread: MANIFOLD QUESTIONS

Hi all,
OK ive read a few threads about the warpped manifold. I have a 04 def. It only has 60 000kms or so on it.
And a few questions about it.
Is it worth doing preventitive maintainance on it.
Like upgrading the studs (stronger high tensile), like these?

Or/and ive seen somewhere stainless steel manifold? Can anyone shed light on it? Better? Whats the piont? Will it help/stop it?
Would it be worthwhile fixing the problem now with one of these fixes. As I will be adding some go fast bits i thought i might as well do it at the same time. $$$$ isnt a problem, cause i see it as saving me some money in the long term.

The studs some will say to upgrade the studs i didnt ,all i did to mine was remove the webbing and drill all the holes out to 10mm i think from memory bar the centre 2
