    Steering Box Interchangable?

From what I have read it is possible to replace the 3 bolt power steering box from an '82 RRC with a later model 4 bolt box from RRC or Disco.

My understanding is that the fittings on the hoses are different threads and I will either need new hoses or thread adaptors. Other then that the later boxes will be direct replacement.

    Is this correct?

    Cheers.............David

That is my understanding as well. Note that I think the arrangement of pipes is different as well - so you are likely to need some modifications there as well.
