What gearbox is it running as the 4 speed was supposed to be a truck box
The 5 speed on the other hand did not handle the isuzu real well
As everyone has said the sals axle set up is more than strong enough with the added addition of maxi or mcnamarra axles ,the front end is another story ,
I have got away with standard axles and cv,s in the front with a locker and running 34" swampers for a long while with my old slug of a Tdi Defender yet to fit the lockers to the Td5 Defender
The Td5 will be the test as i never drove the Tdi hard(couldnt):p
Too late I'll keep it
LT95 4 speed, so the truck box but not exactly a truck box.
Jmac axles, any idea on how much mullah???? is it just the axles or flanges etc as well?
Trying to get any info or prices out of the old......... is like pulling out your own teeth with a rubber spoon. I would love to turn up there with X amount in $5 notes and make him count it whilst I get the car sorted.

Not sure on Jacmac stuff Dobbo but the my maxi axles worked out at between $600-660 a diff, and that included the flanges for the rear, obviously dont need them for the front. Not sure how much the price difference is when talking sals diff.
