Thumbs up another happy SC80 customer

Finally got round to fitting Tims'(Drivesafe/ Traxide) SC80 3 battery kit to the RR. What a simple operation, everything req is included, and simple CD ROM instructions that I printed out and grubbed around the workshop with helped immensely

I set the system up with the main crank battery, a rear cargo area battery and a deep cycle 'DC100 Full River' in the camper trailer.

As testament to Tims wiring selection and system design, at idle, with 460watts of lights switched on (High beam 130W each and 2 Lightforce 240 100W each), and the fridge on, I still had 14.2V available AT THE ANDERSON PLUG !!!

    Happy little vegemite!

Yep they are good, I've had mine in since 05 and never had an issue, it's probably the best mod I've done to the car, it just means I don't have to worry about keeping charge up the my second battery, it does it for me.

Mine gets a good workout too, most camps it will be running the fridge overnight as well as a camp light while around the fire and charging camera and laptop batteries, I know just a short drive and all is charged up again.
