    Unhappy Better low beam?

My disco 2 has ge a4 60/55 globes.I would like to get better light esp on low beam.
Is there a easy fix?ie.brighter globes or fit relays,or both.
After a bad trip last night ,appox 200ks on low beam because of oncoming traffic and no fog line ,the old head was aching .There must be a fix>
    What have you people tried?

HEadlight loom upgrades makes a difference, especially with longevity, but 90/100w globes really makes a big difference.

if you go to 90/100 you will need to fit relays or Drivesafe's kit - the stalk dimmer switch will burn out if you don't. You will also notice a difference when you provide better voltage to the globes both in brightness and globe life.

with higher wattage lamps, there is a possibility that you *may* burn the reflective coating off the reflector, there can also be problems with melted reflectors

Try the Philips +50 globes, using a light meter I tested the 90/100w vs the 50/60W and found them to be exactly the same.

Definitely upgrade the wiring harness - before I used to get 11V at the globes, now 13.5V

Whack in some H4 Hi/Lo HIDs

Beat the heck out of 80/100W any day...

I even run HID in the MotorBike
