I only use land rover ones have tryed the others and thay squeek
and seem to be cheaper were I get them from
Gday
A while ago I did a hub seal in the Defender and as a result diff oil soaked all through one side on the brake pads, on the rear of the Defender. So now I'd like to replace them
What's the best to go for?
I have no idea how much brake pads are worth, so depending on price I'll either go the whole lot or just the rear pads
Thanks

FWIW - I only ever use genuine parts ones...

Genuine ones here too.

I have tried practically all there is available for Range Rovers. I go through 2-3 sets a year.
The genuine ones work best but wear the quickest, which may not be a problem if you dont drive all that many k,s. My vehicle is an auto and is always heavily loaded.

I'll be replacing mine with genuine to get rid of the squeal. However they can be up to twice as expensive. Figure $80 - $100 per for the rears.
Thanks for the replies
I'll have a chat to my supplier and see how much they reckon
Thanks
Just been quoted $185 for a full set of Genuines on my doorstep
Is that realistic or a bit exxy?
Thanks
