Depends on the vehicle. If it is a coil sprung Landrover, the most usual cause is the bush gone on the rear end of the lower link to the rear axle, on the LH side if my mental picture is right. But a similar effect will happen with any free play that allows either axle to move back and forth on one side.
If it is a drum braked leaf sprung Landrover, the most common cause is either brake fluid or diff oil leaked onto the lining of the RH front brake.
