    Question Rear Diff Pinion Bearing

Funny noise coming from my rear diff.

The seal was leaking - replaced, all good but a few thousand km's later now there is that noise coming from the rear diff.

In a forum post I read that this could be the pinion bearing.

What is the easiest way to check if flogged?

What is involved in changing the pinion bearing?

    Cheers,

Stick axel stands under front & rear diff housings ... all 4 wheels off the ground ... Drive the car in top gear (static) ... You will hear the diff singing if the bearings are shot
