actually I forgotten when taking of the smart bar how bloody light they are. I carried it around on my own. I will miss that bar though I actually really liked it just doesn't quite suit my needs now

Leds have little resistance compared to a globe with filament. Have been known to upset a flasher can if no resistance in place. By second globe or resister built in.

oh ok it was my understanding that when you fit a bullbar (like my smart bar) and hook up the indiactors it causes the trailer light to flash along with the indicators which mine did....the only way to cure this is to fit LED's in the bullbar which this one has as the low resistance puts everything back to normal which it has done

Actually you can also fit low wattage bulbs (5W works perfectly) and get the same affect. The LED's draw virtually nothing and if you were to replace all the indicator lights with them you would need to replace the flasher can. But as the rest of the bulbs are standard ones it's not an issue.

A bit of trivia, my camper trailer is all LED and thus the trailer indicators don't trigger the trailer flasher on the instruments either.

Yes that is one thing they are good for. Secondary blinkers.

    All good then

That's the only thing wrong with using then on a trailer with no resistance on Land Rovers.

The up side is nice and bright and very low current draw.

    Hi Lou,

Thats why I fitted the LEDs to the front but never got around to hooking up (lazy) and sorry forgot to put the wiring note in, but it seems you got it sorted.

    Did the front drop much?

I think the front has dropped a fraction! but not that noticable I put it on the drive and it looks fine plenty of room in the front arches.......if anything I think the profil of the bar side on makes it look like it has dropped as it has a kind of slightly forward droop to it.

But side on the approach angle looks Sooooo much better. really pleased with it so thank you danny for contacting me in the first place about the bar
Like to say I couldn't of delt with a nicer person for anyone wanting to buy goods off this guy go for it top bloke

I will post up a couple of pics tomorrow for anyone interested to see the disco being transofrmed into the look of every other disco on the road
