Splitting hairs?? I have a pair of the 220 roo lites (saved a couple of hundred bucks on LF 240s) and are very happy with them. Had them for almost 12 mths. If they split, then I'll fix them.

ok if they are not direct copies they must be bloody good ones....there was a time when the light force agent guy was doing a comparison of them at a shop and their differences.....it took him 15mins to realise he wasn't holding up a lightforce but a roo lite:D so they must be fairly close I wasn't there but apparently he was very embarrassed. This is a mate story not my personal experience but I believe him.

If unable to have the crack in the case fixed under warranty, take the light to the local plasti-weld shop and have them plasti-weld the cracks.
Most motor cycle accident repairers will have a plasti-weld on-site, used to repair cracked fairings.

I was going to suggest a plastic weld too. It's amazing what a dab hand can fix with those special heat guns and filler rods.
