    D2 Auto fluid change

    Excellent article with pictures. I have done this a few times with my auto gearbox and it's a simple yet effective way of keeping the auto gearbox healthy. I noted that the colour of his ATF is far far darker than normal, so that's probably why he was experiencing shift issues.

    It should be pink like the colour of cough syrup!

    or a lovely GREEN if using the elixir from the boys in green and red (which also has a listed ZF approval http://www01apps.zf.com/kst464/ZF_In...doID=1&id=2371)

    It sounds like he was from the "don't change the auto fluid" team. It was rather black.

    Just to clear things up lol, no shift issues at all.........

    and yes I was in two minds whether or not to do it, BUT I had no choice in the end as a cooler pipe failed and dumped it all over the engine bay, wheel arch and road

    Its quite surprising how much came out in such little time. Had to refill with 8.5 litres
