Unless you want rags these things are not bad for tread and do drive ok on black top.

As Matt says they do measure undersize. the 35's are more 34's at the most really.
I wouldn't use either Simexs or Extremes on the road so thats not an issue.
There have been a few threads on UK forums where tested back to back in serious muddy off road situations the Silverstones have bettered the Simex's
In all honesty tho, I think if I was just driving in mud I would get Boggers, and on Rock, Krawlers.
Must say i am really liking the look of thos KM2's Tony.
Thanks for this Info Stikman, good to hear some good reports about Extremes.
This is one thing that concerns me a bit , is the fact that at times I have to drive over 100 kms to get to the meeting point with the extremes on.
so it would give me the absolute Bananas to drive with Noisy Tires.
yeah yeah...
I thought you had MTZ's on your RANGIE ????
The undersize measurements wouldn't really bother me that greatly even if the 35's measured 34's It's the Price of other Tires brands . ie ........Ahem .......BFG .........
That's why I'm choosing to go down the Silverstones path ..:(:D
Grover , noone here is comparing Tyres with Tyres ;) I would have started a Poll to do a comparisson on tyre brands otherwise If I wanted to compare tyres .I 'm curious to find out from personal experiences of those that run silverstone Extremes on their trucks , I mentioned BFG tyres and that's souley because of prices I've been quoted for BFG KM2's and I read in another thread that I should be happy with these prices that I've been quoted because someone was quoted a lot higher prices in a different state and therefore I have to be happy ??
sorry i must have miss read the title of the thread;). I was interested in hearing views about the Silverstone Extremes specially with feedback compared to Simex centipedes. i have been tossing up getting a set of winter tyres myself:cool: Last serious set i had were Jungle Trekker 1's:angel:
Might be time for a set of these..:D:D

Yes. Want to be aswell:D As I don't really like walking on jellyfish:p Siverstone are fine 100% off road as stated above. No good to me as have to touch the black top everyday.
When I was looking for tyres for my 120 I started with simex, maxi, sliverstone etc. I've ended up with BFG for a reason.... Compromise. I cant be bothered changing tyres all the time.
I use 9.5 X 16 (33")tractor tyres here in the mud anyway.
