Rick, any suggestions as an ATF alternative for a BW viscous transfer??
Nope, sorry.
What was the original spec ?
<edit>
looks like a Dex II/III spec fluid originally.
You could stick with an ATF, most US t/cases these days still spec ATF's and they don't shear the fluid like a manual gearbox will.
If it's new and you wanted it to last, something synthetic or a really light MTF like Redline MTL.
Looking at the Fluid recommendations of the oil companies, the actual spec other than maybe viscosity doesn't seem to matter as they are recommending DexII, DexIII's, Japanese Type J's and Ford M2C-33g fluids which are pretty different in frictional characteristics.
