    clunking under dash drivers

I have got a clunking noise under the dash on the drivers side of my tdi disco went off roading a few weeks ago and now I am hearing this noise took the cover off and cant see anything that I thought would make the noise but it is annoying the crap out of me anyone else have this problem?

Is there anything under the dash or behind the guages that could have come loose?

    thanks Ralph.

My disco had a clunk under the dash. It was related to the adjustable height steering wheel and had a bit of play in it. It wasn't loose, just a bit of play and it made a clunking noise. Just a thought?

noises do travel,I had what sounded like a clunk coming from around the dash area turned out to be the bullbar was contacting the guard over bumps took ages to find and this also started after a off road trip.

No problems now made my own bar and ditched the ARB one.
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
detriot locker, lsd front,C.D.L kit, chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift, rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

On my D2 it turned out to be a snapped chassis mount (on bot sides!).
