That not a broken Diff, this is a broken Diff

Some years back at Tookeron. This was my second broken diff. Both times it was fixed under warranty. I had one of those gold warranty jiggers that you get with second hand car dealers.

The second time it broke they wouldn't honor the claim. They said it was caused by excessive wheel spin. I took them to court and they coughed up at the last hour. Cost me around $50 to lodge a do it yourself law suit.

Anyway I took out the axles and the prop shaft and drove it home. The crown wheel and pinion was still usable. It makes a slight whine on the highway, and the old girl now has a scar from the surgery performed on the housing.

Needless to say it got the Maxi Drive treatment as the repair.
